A very feminine cap in which the pattern was given to Lisa of Mariyam's by Quaker Jane.

This Made to Order Laura Day Frill Cap is made in a high-quality linen fabric. The front ties are also made with the same linen fabric and are about 15-16 inches in length. You may also choose cotton ties in a 3/8 width. Please choose the correct choice when ordering. The brim width is 2 7/8 inches - excluding the ruffle. To measure for your brim length, start to measure at the end of one earlobe, over the hairline, and stopping at the other end earlobe. Normally this style of cap covered the entire ear, stopping right after the end of the earlobe.

Perfect for wearing under an outer bonnet or outer kerchief/shawl, or alone if you wish. Sewn into the front of the brim is a ruffle, made out of the same fabric as the cap.

Much precision and care is incorporated into the creation of this cap (and all other caps made by Mariyam's). Each Laura Day Frill Cap is individually made and incorporates hand sewing with the fine, narrow seams.
